மருத மடு திருத்தல ஆவணித் திருவிழா

இன்று இலங்கையின் கத்தோலிக்க மக்கள் மருத மடு திருத்தலத்தின் விழாவை மிக மிக விமரிசையாக கொண்டாடினார்கள். ஐந்து நூற்றாண்டு பழமை வாய்ந்த இலங்கை கத்தோலிக்க விசுவாசம் ஆரம்பத்தில் வேருன்றிய காலத்தில் மாந்தை பகுதியில் ஆரம்பித்த இவ் மரியாளின் வணக்கம் மருத மடுவில் வேதகலாபனை காரணமாய் நிலைபெற்று இன்று இலங்கை வாழ் மக்கள் யாவருக்கும் இன, மத பேதம் இன்றி பரந்துள்ளதுள்ளது.
இவ் திருத்தல ஆயத்த வழிபாடுகள் கடந்த நாட்களில் நடைபெற்று நேற்று இரவு நற்கருணை வழிபாடு நடைபெற்று, இன்று காலை கொழும்பு பேராயர் பேரருள்திரு மல்கம் ரஞ்சித் தலைமையில் யாழ்ப்பாண, மன்னார், அனுராதபுர, பதுளை ஆயர்களின் கூட்டினைவில் பெருமளவு குருக்கள், லட்சகணக்கான மக்களின் பங்குபற்றுதலுடன் திருவிழா திருப்பலி நடைபெற்றது.

தமிழ், சிங்கள மொழிகளில் திருப்பலி நடை பெற்றது முக்கிய ஆசிர்கள் லத்தின் மொழியில் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளை சேர்ந்த எராளமான தமிழ், சிங்கள கத்தோலிக்க, இந்து, பெளத்த மக்கள் இவ் வழிபாடுகளில் பங்குபற்றினர்.

பேசாலை புனித வெற்றிநாயகி ஆலயம்

மன்னார் மறை மாவட்டத்தின் மிகப்பெரிய ஆலயமாகிய பேசாலை புனித வெற்றி நாயகி ஆலயம் சுமார் 200 வருடங்கள் பழமை வாய்ந்தது. பெருமளவு இறை மக்களையும் குருக்களையும் கொண்ட இந்த கடலோர ஆலயம் மன்னார் மறை மாவட்டத்தின் சாட்சிய வாழ்வுக்கான ஒரு மாபெரும் அடையாளம்.அருட்பணி. வின்சென்ட் பற்றிக் இன் காலத்தில் கட்டி இலங்கைக்கான வாடிகன் இன் பிரதிநிதியால் அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்பட்ட இந்த ஆலயம் தற்போது அருட்பணி.அகஸ்டின் இனால் நிர்வகிக்கப்படுகிறது.
பெருமளவு யாத்ரிகர்கள் இந்த ஆலயத்தை தினமும் தரிசித்து வருகிறார்கள். பயணப் பாதை- மன்னாரில் இருந்து பேசாலை பஸ் மூலமாயோ அல்லது தலை மன்னார் பஸ்மூலமாயோ செல்லலாம்.
இவ் இடுகை இன் ஆசிரியர் புனித வெற்றி நாயகி இன் வேண்டுதலால் நன்மை பெற்று அளிக்கும் சாட்சியம் இது. நன்றி.

PERIAKATTU FESTIVAL

Today one of the Mannar Diocese's Shrine periyakattu St.Antony's church festival. It's grantly organised, many devotees took part in today's Holy Mass. Vicar General of mannar diocese Rev Fr.Victar Soosai and 7 priests took part in Holy Mass, including Secretary of Mannar Bishop. Events are organised by Cheddikulam Parish Priest Rev Fr.Arulpragasam OMI. This Shrine lying on Mannar - Medawadchiya high way, near to Parayanayankulam junction.This is a century old shrine, most of cheddikulam, mannar tamil catholic people attend in festival annually.

Conscious, merciful Saviour, of my nothingness and of Thy sublimity, I cast myself at Thy feet and thank Thee for the many proofs of Thy grace shown to me, Thy ungrateful creature. I thank thee especially for delivering me by Thy Precious Blood from the destructive power of Satan. In the presence of my dear mother, Mary, my guardian angel, my patron saint and of the whole company of heaven, I dedicate my self voluntarily with a sincere heart , O dearest Jesus, to Thy precious blood, by which thou hast redeemed the world from sin,death and hell. I promise Thee with the help of Thy grace and to the utmost of my strength to stir up and foster devotion to Thy Precious Blood, the price of our redemption, so that Thy adorable Blood may be honoured and glorified by all. In this way, I wish to make reparation for my disloyalty towards Thy Precious Blood of love, and to make satisfaction to Thee for the many profanations which men commit against that precious price of their salvation. O would that my own sins, my coldness, and all acts of disrespect I have ever committed against Thee, O holy, precious blood, could be undone. Behold, O dearest Jesus, I offer to Thee the love, honour and adoration, which Thy most holy mother, Thy faithful disciples and all saints have offered to Thy Precious Blood, I ask Thee to forget my earlier faithlessness and coldness, and to forgive all who offend thee.
